At Long Last! Liberals have been waiting and praying
for this day these past eight years - the end of the Bush Era and
the inauguration of a new, Democratic president! Considering that
almost two million people showed up in Washington for the festivities,
one can gather that America's ready for a change, too! The best part
of the whole day was when Bush flew off in the helicopter and the
crowd spontaneously broke into song, "NA NA NA NA, HEY
HEYYYYY GOOD-BYYYEE!"
Cut to that evening and revelry for liberals nationwide at inauguration
parties. We went to Northport with our friends the Bluesteins, and
we were invited to bring our guitars, so we did! Thanks so much to
Matt Spirn and his staff for their wonderful hospitality. They have
a great place there and we'll be going back real soon.
