I'm still trying to get my mind around the fact that those evil, profiteering, imperialistic, warmongering corporate lackeys could have had America so bamboozled that they got themselves "reelected." I grieve for the unfortunate, foolish choice the electorate has made (maybe, we think).

What rankles most is that they won the election in key states where the Diebold "Election Systems" were used. Yes, the infamous "no paper trail" systems that can't be validated (by design, of course). No bank would ever use such a half-baked system with no checks and balances, but it's good enough to choose the next President of the United States! We in Technology well know that such systems are easy enough to rig with a properly placed piece of code. ...And which states used this Diebold System, you ask? Why, Florida and Ohio of course! Hmm.

"SHOCK AND AWE" INTO "DOOM AND GLOOM"

Like a lot of people, I was up all night Election Eve, staying up until dawn grumbling at my TV, "Come on Ohio, Come on Ohio." The next day I was a wreck. I was still in "shock and awe" - the bad guys had won!!! How could this have happened? As the week dragged on, deep despair gave way to a constant dark cloud of gloom.

"OH JEEZ, ANOTHER WHINEY KERRY SUPPORTING LOOO-HOOO-SERRRR!"

Look, it's not just about that "my guy" lost - it's that Bush-Cheney and their henchmen have been written a blank check to do whatever they want. And boy, are they gonna cash it in but good! I fear for America as we "enter the Twilight Zone;" what may one day be known as the darkest four years of our history. These right-wing radicals plan to set the nation on a tragic new course in which:

• Personal rights will be rescinded in the name of "Security."
• Robber barons will plunder the American economy of all its remaining value as jackals devour a gazelle.
• Many more American jobs will be sacrificed on the altar of Global Economy and Corporate Internationalism.
• Social Security will dismantled, at a huge profit to key favored firms.
• Corporate America will be given Carte Blanche to do whatever it wants to screw working people.
• The Draft is revived (get ready people, it's coming!) to man even more military misadventures in the Mideast. And worst of all, more of our young people will die for no good reason in an indefensible war.

SOMETHING FISHY MAYBE? YATHINK?

Didn't Walter O'Dell - the CEO of Diebold - announce to prospective GOP fundraisers last year, "I am committed to delivering Ohio's 28 electoral votes to George Bush." Hmm. Well, they promised to "fix" the polling system in 2000 and they sure delivered. Yeah, they fixed it real good.

"MANDATE" MY ASS!

...And by the way Mr. President, although you claim to have won the popular vote (maybe, we think) 51% is hardly a MANDATE, okay? There are 48% of us who voted against you. Most of us hate your f**king guts and everything you stand for. Or rather, what you DON'T stand for! Because you're, "A uniter, not a divider!" Please. America is more evenly divided than at any time since the Civil War. "Mandate," my ass!

WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON? NOT OURS!!!

Yours is the worst administration ever. You stoke the "culture of fear" and wrap yourselves in the flag to control the masses. You reduce any healthy dialog on the issues to character assasination and innuendo. You prosecute a war for your own reasons and your own gain while American boys die. For what? You have transformed America from a Democracy to a "Corporate Feudal State." You do nothing while the country hemorrhages jobs and enable Big Business to have its way with working people. You deliberately condone corporate misappropriation and misgovernance by choosing not to punish it. Now you want to dismantle Social Security and remake it in your own "Bizarro World" image, with key connected firms reaping massive windfalls in the process.

THE BUSHES: DICTATORIAL, MONARCHIST WANNABES

The thing I realize now is that the Bushes really want to be like their bosom buddies, the Saudi Royal Family. They are so jealous of what the Saudis have - absolute power, total control and accountablity to no one. Now the American electorate has granted it to them (maybe, we think).

OBSTRUCT, OBSTRUCT, OBSTRUCT!!!

With full control of the House and the Senate, and the potential for naming enough Supreme Court Justices to keep us in the Dark Ages until sometime late in the century, the Democratic "loyal opposition" (loyal to America, not its evil rulers) has to do everything we can to stall their radical right-wing agenda.

The only thing we can do now is make them accountable their misdeeds. Let's get an investigation going into Election Fraud! Yo, Congress! You listening? Start by indicting O'Dell for Conspiracy to Commit Election Fraud and make them validate the vote in every district and ward that had the Diebold "Election System." Drag it out state by state and county by country. Follow the money. Cast their legitimacy into doubt. Do to the NeoCons what they did to Clinton - keep them defending themselves for four years, to the exclusion of all else. Obstruct, obstruct, obstruct!

"MOURNING IN AMERICA!!!"

I grieve for America. I love my country. Don't question my patriotism because I don't agree with their evil agenda of shredding the Constitution, looting the economy and plunging America into years of endless, needless war! They may have won the battle but not the war. THE LEFT SHALL RISE AGAIN!
