I wrote this to the filmaker after I saw the short film, "The Battle for America." As you will read, it really touched a raw nerve.

OMG "The Battle for America" really touched a nerve. I mean seriously - I'm sitting here in tears as I type this. It just resonates SO MUCH with what I am feeling right now.

God, I hate these fascists. I hate them with all my heart and soul and with every fiber of my being. I hate what they're doing to this country and I hate what they're doing to the people. They want to bring back 1900-style labor relations and Gilded Age politics in which the Robber Barons own everything. They want America to be controlled by the rich and they don't want the rank-and-file citizen to have a say anymore. The want Government of Big Business, By Big Business and For Big Business. Not that our government has any national loyalties - it's all about the money now.

I wasn't even that political before BushCo stole the election in 2000. I can't tell you how many times in the past five that I've felt a deep despair over the direction our country is going in. Sometimes it feels so hopeless. They twist everything that is good and right about America to purvey their evil agenda. And of all the horrible things they've done the thing that angers me the most is that they've used MY F**KING RELIGION to justify their crimes!!!

When hopelessness overtakes me all I can do is get on my knees and pray for my country. Pray that these reckless, greedy, arrogant rulers will fail and America will once again be the Land of the Free. Pray that these would-be tyrants will be driven from power into a twilight of shame and disgrace. Pray that history will judge these people as they wicked rulers they truly are. Please God let it be so.

Maybe this would a good time to thank all of your for your camaraderie and support during these truly dark times. Keep the faith, brothers and sisters!
